Fender American Special Precision Bass
60th Anniversary Model
Circa 2006.  Serial number Z5038231. Made in
Corona, California.  Black with black 3-ply
pickguard. Special features include a
Greasebucket tone circuit (this cuts out highs
without adding lows) hidden in the volume knob,
Posiflex graphite neck support rods, a Fender "F"
neckplate and machine heads, string-through
bridge, commemorative 60th Anniversary jewel
headstock emblem, and a silver "spaghetti logo"
on the headstock. The chromed bridge and pickup
covers were added aftermarket.  The "60th
Anniversary" refers to the founding of Fender
Musical Instruments, not the Precision Bass.

This bass was found in unplayable condition with
a severely warped neck, since corrected.  It has a
lot of fine surface scratching on the body from the
previous owner, but nothing through the finish.  It
is very lightweight, has a lot of variety in tone and
is truly a pleasure to play.
